The Amie Dworecki FAQ

Question: "Where in the world is Amie?"

Answer: I am now in Seattle staying at my sister's apartment. Recently, my sister made the decision to accompany me for the first couple weeks of my trip. This is going to be great!

So far, I have taken the infamous GMAT, and have (tried) to relax as I plan to leave the USA. On May 5-6, 2001, I will be in Vancouver, BC with my sister, to run my first half marathon - the Vancouver International Marathon/Half Marathon.
I must tell you, it's a strange feeling to be homeless and unemployed. Try renewing your car insurance or applying for medical insurance... real fun...

Question: "So where and when is your first stop?"

Answer: The Cannes International Film Festival (leave it to my sister to think of something brilliant) ... Yes, that's right, look for me on the E! channel, because my sister and I are headed off to Cannes, France for the festival after a brief stint in London, England (I didn't quit my job for nuthin'). Hopefully, we can catch Martin Scorsese's presentation of his film "Il mio viaggio nel cinema italiano". We leave May 9th.

Question: "Will you send me a postcard?"

Answer: Send me some email if there's any doubt that I have your address, and if there's any particular place you'd like a postcard from. No guarantees, but I'll try.

Question: "Do you have any regrets at this point?"

Answer: Honestly, no. I feel as if there is a weight lifted from my shoulders in many ways. If you have a dream, no matter how crazy it is, follow it. Don't make excuses - period. I don't think you should settle for an average, or worse, less than average life. Who knows how much longer we have on this earth.

Ok, I'll get off the soapbox. As for my possessions, to be honest, I don't miss them (yet). I did keep my favorite curling iron though...

Question: "How can I contact you?"

Answer: As I have no address nor phone, email is the only way right now. Follow the link above for 'Contact Me' and my email address is as listed.

Ciao raggazi,
Amie
